Best 40k books - Not 40K, but Josh Reynolds’s Dark Harvest is a good folk horror novel. A reviewer compared it to Laird Barron’s work, which is high praise in my book and not unwarranted. The House of Night and Chain by David Annandele was pretty good.

 
It doesn't even affect the overall plot. The Eisenhorn omnibus is imo the best 40k book. It shows the setting on a human level, outside the warzones. Alright while I've only gotten into the 40k books last year I think I have a pretty good idea of what to read (at least for the Imperium).. Nx cad software
